We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The rooms are clean and cosy. Room service is very polite and attentive. There is an outdoor pool with warm water that my kids enjoyed very much. The buffet in the mornings is very good: any kind of food that you would think of, fresh fruit and juices, everything high-quality and nourishing for the rest of the day. The staff is very kind and attentive, always asking about what else they can do for you. And the location of the hotel is very convenient, right near the main square and some sightseeing places, the metro station is also nearby.

With a vast selection of both local and international dishes, there was truly something for everyone. Freshly baked pastries, an array of cheeses, and an impressive selection of fruits showcased the quality of ingredients and the love that goes into each dish. The made-to-order omelette station was a highlight, allowing us to customize our meal exactly to our liking. But what made our breakfast experience truly exceptional was our wonderful waitress, Sherouk. Her warm smile and attentive service transformed our meal into something special. Sherouk was not only knowledgeable about the menu, providing recommendations that enhanced our dining experience, but she also went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her genuine enthusiasm for her job and her willingness to make our morning memorable truly stood out. In summary, breakfast at the Steigenberger Hotel in Cairo is a delightful experience, made even better by the outstanding service from Sherouk. For anyone visiting Cairo, this breakfast is a must-try, and I can't recommend it enough!
Spent my final 2 days (after almost a month in Egypt) at the Steigenberger El-Tahrir Cairo. It was an excellent choice. The location is unbeatable, the rooms are super-comfy and well-appointed, the breakfast spread is huge and yummy, and all the hotel staff are warm, friendly and helpful - hearty thanks to Monica, at reception! I opted for a hot stone massage at the hotel spa just before leaving for the airport - it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Big thank you to my massage therapist, Walaa!! I’m ready for my long flight home!
We are currently staying at the Steinenberger and have found everything to be great. The food at breakfast and dinner has been varied, plentiful and delicious. Good wine list and delicious cocktails. The staff including the security guards, cleaning staff and the people working in the restaurant are all friendly and welcoming. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. It is located in downtown Cairo close to the old museum. Can highly recommend.
The hotel was great and very safe, clean, and the staff was very professional. The manager Seddik at the restaurant was amazing. His staff was extremely professional and quick to respond. The food was delicious and my favorite was the burger. I highly recommend coming here. 5 STARS!
